Install Jelly Bean Based MIUI 4.1 on Kindle Fire
The Amazon Kindle Fire hasn’t seen so many Jelly Bean ROMs yet but MIUI team is now paying attention to tablet, a senior XDA developer member lithium76 has released MIUI 4.1 for your Kindle Fire that based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.
The MIUI ROM gives you a unique experience, it brings a unique interface to your Kindle Fire and it has its own apps such as a theme manager (with many stunning themes), intuitive status bar, home-brewed apps (with eye-catching home launcher) and useful tweaks to tweak your Kindle Fire.
The ROM is being update by the developer because it still contains some bugs and issues like screenshots are not working and long pressing edit text boxes can reboot the phone, but the developer will iron out them soon in near future.

A custom recovery must be installed on your Kindle Fire, be sure to follow this guide to install TWRP custom recovery and it’s important to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions
Step #1: Download the latest version of MIUI ROM from here [XDA Link].
Step #2: Transfer the downloaded .zip file to SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by pressing power button, when a triangle appears on the screen, press the Power button again to enter TWRP recovery.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state, to create backup select “Backup”.
Step #6: Perform wipe, to wipe device, from the main menu, select Wipe, then select Factory reset.
Step #7: Select “Install” and locate the downloaded .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, return to main menu and reboot tablet, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System.”
