Install Jelly Bean Based ParanoidAndroid ROM on Galaxy Note – Features Hybrid UI
Android development community is spreading the sweetness of the Jelly Bean through different ways such as custom ROMs, the Paranoid Android custom ROM also has joined the rain of Jelly Bean by updating to version 2.1 and has been released for the Samsung Galaxy Note N7000, thanks to senior XDA developer member Utacka.
As I said above that the ParanoidAndroid is now based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, the ROM has become popular due to its hybrid tablet and phone user interface that allow you scale and size your apps and widgets even you can customize some aspects of the interface, use any mode you love the most phablet and tablet. The Jelly Bean increase the smoothness of the device performance and adds many apps and features such as the Google Now app, smarter keyboard, advanced notification bar, improved camera app and more.
The ParanoidAndroid ROM is still under development stages, which means, you might face some bugs and issues.
Take a look at below guide to install ParanoidAndroid ROM on Galaxy Note. Do keep mind that your Galaxy Note must running CyanogenMod 9, you can’t install on stock Samsung firmware, you can follow our this guide to install CyanogenMod 9. Be sure to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #2: Transfer both downloaded .zip files to the internal SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded ROM .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Once the ROM .zip file is installed, also install the Google Apps package .zip file in the same manner.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
