Install “KillaSense 3.7” ROM on HTC Thunderbolt

A new ROM “KillaSense 3.7” for your HTC Thunderbolt has released, thanks to XDA developer “orkillakilla”. This ROM has heart touching features Stock Sense 2.1, Rooted, Deodex, Busybox, Bash, Imoseyon’s leankernel, and 4n1 reboot menu. It has useful tweaks and it features better battery life. Sysro/sysrw scripts added and many ringtones and 1 notification tone. It also has Overscroll glow and no GPS icon in status bar. Working Wifi Tether, Extra Quick Settings and Sense 3.5 Camera App.

If you’re interested follow below guide, but keep in mind that your device must be rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed its battery should be charged. Disable all system tools such as Samsung KIES, antivirus, firewall program, please make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure will wipe all data, you can use file expert app to backup and turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development. Then, make sure that USB debugging is checked.

DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.

Instructions

Step #1: Download Killasens ROM here to PC.

Step #2: Plug the device to PC using USB cable.

Step #3: Transfer the downloaded file to SD card of device.

Step #4: Disconnect the device from PC.

Step #5: Turn the device off.

Step #6: Reboot the device into recovery mode by pressing the Volume Down button + Power Button.

Step #7: In recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” after that “choose zip from sd card” then select Killa Sense Firmware, after that Google Apps which is placed in the phone in the same mentioned order. It will take some time so wait.

Step #8: Once the flashing done, go back to the main menu of recovery mode and choose the option “Wipe data/factory reset”>> “Wipe Cache partition”.

Step #9: Once again go back to the main menu of recovery mode and restart the device by choosing the option “Reboot system now”. That’s it, enjoy however if the method become fail, just try again. You can also visit the original thread of XDA here for queries.
