Recently a new firmware “UCLD3” leaked for AT&T Galaxy Note, the firmware is based on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, the firmware is stable, as it’s leaked it still has some bugs such as Instagram not working, but this firmware is better than previous leaked firmware, read on to learn how to install UCLD3 firmware on your AT&T Galaxy Note i717.

Before you start installation first charge the battery of device, make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps, and turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development. USB drivers must be installed on your computer, you can download them from here.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the leaked ICS firmware [Mirror] to computer.

Step #2: Run the downloaded SGH-I717UCLD3-1FB30D08F1D2B2AAAECF49D262E8E707.exe file to open Odin.

Step #3: Turn the device off.

Step #4: Reboot the device into download mode, to boot hold down the Volume down + power keys while plugging the phone to computer using USB cable.

Step #5: Odin will detect the device, a message saying ADDED will appear in Odin and You should see “0:[COM#]” fill in the first box.

Step #6: Click on Start button to start installation, once the installation done, your device will reboot itself and you’ll see message saying PASS.

Step #7: That’s it, unplug the device from PC, enjoy!
