Install Leaked Android 4.0.4 ICS XXLQ5 on Galaxy S2 GT-I9100
Not a whille ago a news came that Samsung won’t get the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update but an Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware XXLP5 has been leaked for the Samsung Galaxy S2 modwel number GT-I9100, which means Samsung will surely release the Android 4.0.4 ICS firmware for the Galaxy S2, you’re not stuck at Android 4.0.3.
See below guide to install this leak firmware that will bring a new experince to your device but do note that sinc this is a leaked firmware it may has some bugs but users reported that this firmware is stable for the daily use which means you can try it on your Galaxy S2. Before installation first make sure that USB drivers are installed on the PC, download them from here and also make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions
Step #1: Download the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich XXLP5 and unzip it into a single folder.
Step #2: Download the Odin 1.85 from here and unzip into a folder.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Put device on download mode by pressing the Volume Down + Home + Power button simultaneously. Your phone will then show you a warning. Simply skip the warning by pressing the Volume Up button.
Step #5: Once you’re in download mode plug the device to PC using USB cable. Odin will detect the device, ID:COM will turn yellow and a message saying ADDED will appear.
Step #6: In Odin, you’ll see a button labeled PDA and select the I9100_CODE_I9100XXLQ5_CL753921_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5 from the folder where you unzipped the firmware contents, then click on phone button and loacte MODEM_I9100XXLQ5_REV_02_CL1165929.tar.md5 from the same folder, then also click on CSC and locate GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXALQ5.tar.md5 from the same folder.
Step #7: Click on a button labeled Start to start installation, after the installation the device will reboot automatically and Odin will show a message saying PASS.
Step #8: If your device stuck at logo, and not boot up, turn the device off and reboot into recovery mode by holding down home, volume up and power buttons until device turn on, there select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen then select wipe cache and confirm on the next screen. Then select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.” That’s it.
