Install Leaked Android 4.0 ICS “ZCLP6” Firmware on Galaxy Note GT-N7000


So many Android devices has got Ice Cream Sandwich update, but Samsung Galaxy Note user are still waiting, however Samsung has promised to release Ice Cream Sandwich after few months. But if cab’t wait for official Ice Cream Sandwich update, you should check the leaked build of Ice Cream Sandwich and ZCLP6 is latest leaked Ice Cream Sandwich build for Galaxy Note GT-N7000, thanks to XDA developer xaoc747.

Before you install first keep in mind that the update is just for Samsung Galaxy Note model number GT-N7000, you can check the device information from Setting>About Phone. Your device must be on I9220LP1 firmware and rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed. The batter of your device must be charged and make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup to back apps.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the leaked Ice Cream Sandwich to PC.

Step #2: Plug the device to PC using USB cable.

Step #3: Transfer the downloaded file to internal SD card of device.

Step #4: Disconnect the device from PC.

Step #5: Turn the device off.

Step #6: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up and volume up and power down.

Step #7: Perform full wipe, first select Wipe Data/Factory Reset and confirm on next screen then select Wipe Cache and confirm on next screen.

Step #8: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete, it make take time.

Step #9: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.” That’s it enjoy!
