Install Liquid Jelly Bean ROM on Nexus 7, Stunning UI and More
Just after Samsung Galaxy S3, the Liquid Smooth custom ROM also has been released for the Google Nexus 7 tablet, it’s AOSP Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM and features stunning user interface. The ROM is packed with many powerful features, the user interface is really responsive, it features Backup/Restore configurations that lets you to re-install your own UI/ROM customizations.
The ROM has 5 stunning Lockscreen targets, customizable battery widgets, it also has Weather and Calendar widgets. The SuperSU app is already installed, it has number of other useful features such as Notification Bar Toggles and Notification Count in Status Bar.

Keep in mind that your device must be rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed, bootloader also should be unlocked, follow this guide to unlock bootloader, then follow this guide for root and recovery, you can also use WugFresh toolkit to do everything easily. Make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions
Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here [XDA LINK].
Step #2: Transfer the downloaded file to SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, volume down and power buttons.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
