Install Manually Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich On Galaxy Nexus GSM

It’s just for Galaxy Nexus GSM with the the product code name ‘yakju’ so don’t try it on Verizon and device name ‘yakjuxw’, ‘yakjusc’. Your Galaxy Nexus must be on Android 4.0.2 ICL53F, Android SDK should be installed too. You’ll need fastboot and your device bootloader should be unlocked. After this requirements follow below guide.

Step #1: Download the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update.
Step #2: Download latest ClockworkMod recovery.
Step #3: Now transfer the downloaded OTA package to the sdcard folder on your Galaxy Nexus.
Step #5: Turn the device off and reboot into bootloader mode holding the volume up and down buttons together, followed by pressing the power button.
Step #6: Now plug the device to PC and open a command prompt or terminal. Locate your fastboot folder, ensuring your ClockworkMod image is also inside that same folder, after that type:
fastboot-windows.exe boot recovery-clockwork-184.108.40.206-maguro.img in the command line (or just fastboot.exe if that’s what you’ve got)
