Install MIUI 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM on HTC Sensation
Jelly Bean Based CyanogenMod 10 and AOKP builds are already available for the HTC Sensations and it’s MIUI’s turn, Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean based MIUI has been arrived for the HTC Sensation, thanks to recognized XDA contribute smokin901.
MIUI custom ROM features really stunning and unique user interface, it has number of useful apps like stunning status bar, home launcher, music app, themes manager app (with many themes) and many other useful tweaks and apps. The ROM gives a beautiful look and feel to your HTC Sensation.
Do keep in mind that MIUI Jelly Bean custom ROM is currently in development stages, which means, it may has some bugs, however everything is working fine, just front camera isn’t working currently, but the developer will iron out all bugs soon in near future.

Make sure the ClockworkMod recovery is installed on your phone, be sure to follow our this guide to install ClockworkMod touch recovery 6.0. You need to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here [Official Page].
Step #2: Copy downloaded MIUI 4.1 Jelly Bean .zip file to the SD card of your HTC Sensation.
Step #3: Power off phone and reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume down and power button, first the phone will enter in HBOOT, from there select recovery option to enter in recovery mode.
Step #4: First of all, in recovery mode you need to make nandroid backup, if anything doesn’t work in new ROM, you’ll be able to go back with this backup, to make, select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #5: Perform wipe, select the wipe data/factory reset and confirm it on the next screen.
Step #6: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded MIUI .zip file that you’ve copied in step 2, then confirm installation.
Step #7: Once the installation is done, return to main menu, from there select “Reboot System Now” to reboot the phone.
