Install Official Android 4.0.4 ICS on LG Prada 3 P940
LG also releasing Ice Cream Sandwich update for LG smartphones like LG finally has released Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the LG Prada 3 P940, the update brings many new improvements and bugs fixes however the update is available for just Germany users but here’s a guide to install Official Android 4.0.4 ICS on any LG Prada 3 P940 manually, just follow it and taste Ice Cream Sandwich.
Follow below guide, but first disable all system tools such as antivirus, firewall program, please make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps, and make sure that USB drivers are installed on your PC, you can download drivers from here.

Step #1: Download the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich V20D Firmware to your PC.
Step #2: Make sure that the downloaded file is .kdz format.
Step #3: Open the shttp3.exe on PC, then click on “Update Entry in Main Menu”, then click on “Add to Startup”, after setting the password click on Install.
Step #4: At this point go to begin the Small HTTP Server from the start menu.
Step #5: After selecting Small HTTP Server, Setting icon will show up on the below task bar, select the HTTP tab and change port to ‘9002’ and confirm the action by selecting OK.
Step #6: Go to C:shttps, there you’ll get the WWW folder, open it.
Step #7: Open another window and go to C:Windowssystem32driversetc.
Step #8: Now copy the hosts file to the ORIG folder that can be found at HOSTS folder in the installation package folder that is V20D .kdz file. Then from C:Windowssystem32driversetc, remove the hosts file and copy the hosts file from the installation package folder to the MOD folder that can be founded in C:Windowssystem32driversetc.
Step #9: Open the installation package folder and then go to Software folder, there run the B2CAppSetup.exe and install the file by following on screen instructions.
Step #10: Now from Flashing folder open Windows Enabler and turn it on from task bar.
Step #11: Return to the Flashing folder and flash msxml.msi.
Step #12: Make sure that you’ve admin rights and USB rights are enabled.
Step #13: Turn your phone off into download mode, and then pull out batter from the device and plug it to the PC using USB cable, then hold down volume up and power buttons of the phone and insert battery back to phone, the phone will vibrate for a few seconds.
Step #14: Open Flashing folder and open UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe, then change the product type to 3GQCT and also change the mode to the Emergency.
Step #15: Now open the flash tool and head over to .kdz file, then select it by clicking on the Select kdz file.
Step #16: Now you just need Normal web upgrade test>Upgrade Start>Select Country & Language>Country: Different Country>Change Language>OK. Make sure that the phone isn’t unplugged from PC. Once it done, the phone will reboot itself
That’s it, you’re done, make sure the device is upgraded to Android 4.0.4 from Setting>About Phone. Do note that if the phone gets in boot loop mode or stuck on LG logo, simple press the power button for a few seconds to turn the phone off and install firmware again.
