Install Official Android 4.0 ICS on AT&T Galaxy Note Manually
Finally the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update has been released for the AT&T Galaxy S2 but the update is currently for a few countries of the world but if you haven’t received the Ice Cream Sandwich update on your device, here’s guide to install the official firmware on any AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note.
Before installation first make sure that the device’s battery is charged and make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps. Turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development. USB drivers must be installed on your computer. Disable all system tools such as Samsung KIES, antivirus, firewall program, etc.

Step #2: Run the downloaded Odin3.exe file.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into download mode by holding down Volume Up, Volume Down and power button until a warning screen appear on the device.
Step #5: Once you’re in download mode plug the device to PC using USB cable. Odin will detect the device, ID:COM will turn yellow and a message saying ADDED will appear.
Step #6: Click on PDA Button and locate the firmware .tar file that you got in step 2 by unzipping the downloaded file.
Step #7: Click on Start button to start installation, once the installation done, your device will reboot itself and you’ll see message saying PASS, the first boot may take time.
Step #8: That’s it, unplug the device from PC and enjoy!
