Not a while ago Motorola Droid RAZR received Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update officially and now MIUI version 4 is also available for the device that based on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and can be flashed on any international GSM Droid RAZR XT910 running Android 4.0 or above, be sure to check your device detail from Setting>About Phone.

MIUI is a well-known custom ROM that offers many customizable features, it support many themes, it has many other amazing features like better notifications bar and more. Install the MIUI ROM on your Droid RAZR to bring a stunning look and feel on your Motorola smartphone.

Before installation first make sure that ClockworkMod recovery is installed on your smartphone, you can follow out this guide to install ClockworkMod and be sure to make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions

Step #1: Download MIUI 4 .zip and copy it to the SD card of phone.

Step #2: Switch off the phone and reboot the device into recovery mode.

Step #3: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, if you don’t like this ROM, you can go back to original ROM with this backup, select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.

Step #4: Select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.

Step #5: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation.

Step #6: After installation, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
