How To Install Safestrap Recovery for Galaxy Note 3 [AT&T and Verizon]

The AT&T and Verizon versions of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have locked bootloaders so that you can customize system easily. But does Android development community care about that? I do not really think so as there are many intelligent people to find alternatives and now we have Safestrap recovery for GNote 3.

The Galaxy Note 3 Safestrap recovery can be used to taste custom ROMs even when you have a locked bootloader. Safestrap make a virtual partition slots to store your newly installed ROMs and bypass the bootloader. It makes its own ecosystem to experience zip files containing ROMS and custom tweaks. You can even boot multiple custom ROMs using the Safestrap structure on your Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It’s pretty easy to enjoy all of your favorite ROMs at a time just by switching between them.

Read on how to install Safestrap recovery for Galaxy Note 3. Make sure first that you have a rooted device with good file manager app installed on your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 AT&T or Verizon such as popular File Expert application.

Instructions

Step #1: Download Safestrap APK to your Note 3 (VerizonAT&T).

Step #2: Navigate to location where you have APK and tap on file. Then select “install” to start installation.

Note: In case you face errors, make sure you have enabled “unknown sources” option in Settings.

Step #3: Once the installation is completed, go to app drawer and launch Safestarp application.

Step #4: Grant superuser app request.

Step #5: Select “install recovery” option to start installation.

Step #6: Reboot your phone.

Step #7: You should now have two options, boot into recovery or continue. Selecting recovery option will take you to safestrap recovery mode.

You are done. Great job, the Safestrap recovery is now installed on your Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The usage of Safestrap recovery should be very clear, the interface is similar to TWRP recovery. In order to make virtual partition, select “boot options”, then select the slot you want. There you can make changes in system, data and cache partitions. I do not recommend you to customize any of them. However you may make changes in “data partition size” depending on your need. In slot simply select “create ROM slot” and you will get a virtual partition.

You should try now your favorite custom ROMs and if you experience errors, leave a comment.
