Install Stock Firmware on Galaxy S Blaze 4G SGH-T769
Mostly people love to install new ROMs, custom recovery, etc on their Smartphone but accidentally brick the Smartphone, as well as some people get the Galaxy S Blaze 4G soft bricked during the installation of custom ROMs, custom recovery, etc, but now they no need to worry about it because the solution is available, just install stock firmware.
Thanks to XDA developer “konane”, who found this method to solve the issue. It’s important for every user of Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G SGH-T769.
Follow below guide to install it but first charge battery of device and disable all system tools such as Samsung KIES, antivirus, firewall program, please make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup to back apps, and turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development. USB driver should be installed on PC, get for 32-bit here and 64-bit here.

This is for those who brink their device during the installation of new ROMs, custom recovery, etc, this is soft brick solution is available, it will restore the phone to stock firmware, which means it will also void the root, so you can try this firmware…..since every new firmware void the root access on the phone, you have root the firmware again…

there is no SGH-T769-UVLB7-hitsquad.tar file in the stock firmware zip file. The only files in the zip were: boot, param.lfs, recovery, and system.img.ext4

My phone was running Cyanogenmod 9 jellybean, and it wouldn’t let me mound my SD card so i deleted it and installed this on it… now all it does is continuously restarts and there is no way to access the custom ROM program on my device…. And the ODIN download didn’t work i just used the program that came with a root program.

reboot phone into recovery mode, to do so power on while holding down BOTH volume buttons when NOT plugged into the computer USB (because this is also the way to get into download mode),,,in recovery mode perform wipe, select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen then, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot phone…it should reboot your phone into normal mode now….

This was weird, it kept my apps installed and everything. I wasn’t bricked but this is the same steps for downgrading and going back 2.3.6 and then update to 4.0.4. This does not wipe cache or dalvik, doesn’t wipe apps, it’s almost like it does nothing but change the OS Rom. I still have text messages and call logs too in tact. There has got to be a cleaner option before running this to wipe clean.
