How To Install TWRP Recovery on HTC One E8 [Guide]
The HTC One E8 is not the real flagship phone but it still enjoys almost same what the HTC’s original flagship phone have. However it runs under a plastic body. It comes with Android KitKat OS running on HTC’s best skin Sense UI and there couples of good features you can use. To make phone more useful, you can load some good custom ROMs on it and popular TWRP recovery is now available to help you in this situation.
Thanks to XDA, the TWRP can be used for some goo kind of customization under recovery mode. You can flash zip files, use a file manager, perform nandroid backups and wipe and more. This guide shows you how to install this TWRP HTC One E8 recovery.
Make sure you have already unlocked the bootloader of your phone. If the bootloader is not unlocked yet, you can check this guide to get help. You need a Windows PC with ADB and Fastboot drivers installed.

Step #2: Plug your phone to PC using a USB cable.
Step #3: Open up command prompt.
Step #4: Type following command and press enter:
Step #5: Reboot your phone into fastboot mode with following command:
Step #6: Navigate to folder where you’ve downloaded above recovery file in command prompt with commands such as C:\update.
Step #7: Enter following command to start installation:
fastboot flash recovery twrpe8w.img (or fastboot flash recovery twrpe8t.img )
Step #8: Wait until installation is done. Then issue following commands:
fastboot erase cache
Step #9: You are done.
That’s it, the TWRP recovery is installed on your One E8.
