Install TWRP Recovery v2.1 on HTC EVO 4G LTE
TeamWin has released the TWRP recovery version 2.1.8 for the HTC EVO 4G LTE officially, it’s time tey something new like TWRP. This custom recovery has number of great features like touch controls, you no need use the physical keys in recovery mode, you can easily install zip files, make a backup of your current ROM and much more. It’s pretty fast and easy to use.
Read on how to install TWRP recovery on your HTC EVO 4G LTE, but first keep in mind that the bootloader of your device must be unlocked. Charge the device battery and make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download and Install Android Terminal Emulator on your HTC smartphone.
Step #2; Download the TWRP Recovery image file to your PC.
Step #3: Plug the device to PC using USB cable, then transfer the downloaded file to internal SD card of device.
Step #4: Open Android Terminal Emulator app, type SD and press enter and allow the app to perform the action.
Step #5: Now type the following commands, it will install recovery:
