Many devices has taste touch-based custom Recovery like Transformer Prime, Samsung Galaxy S2 and more. Now Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) has improved its recovery, it allows you to save custom setting, customizable layout, option to install file with simple touch. Now TWRP Touch recovery also available for Samsung Galaxy Nexus, here’s guide to install it, you should use something different.

Before you start, first note that your device must be rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed, make sure that the device battery is charged.

Instructions

Step #1: Download TWRP 2.1 Touch recovery for GSM variant from here and for CDMA from here and transfer it to internal sd card of your Galaxy Nexus.

Step #2: Turn the device off and reboot the device into recovery mode by holding Volume Up and Volume Down keys and then press the power button when you see Fastboot Mode. Now use volume button to navigate and power button to select.

Step #3: From the main menu of CloclworkMod recovery, select  “Install zip from SDcard“> “Choose zip from SDcard“ and locate the file that you’ve transferred into device in step 1 and confirm the installation.

Step #4: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.” That’s it, you’re done, don’t forget to comment below!
