Install Ultimatum ROM on AT&T Galaxy S3, Features Improved MMS App, Scrollable Wallpapers, and More
Ultimatum is first custom ROM for your newly purchased AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 that is developed by the senior XDA developer member howtomen. The developer packed the Ultimatum with awesome features, it’s AT&T stock based custom ROM.
It’s a rooted custom ROM that also has Deodexed and Zipaligned, the ROM has no bloatware, very Debloated, the developer has removed the S voice and the sCrap. You’ll enjoy an advanced Reboot menu, the ROM features scrollable wallpaper on TW launcher. Developer has modified the MMS app, it allows you to use fonts, the SMS to MMS are increased now, you’ll have different MMS options such as signature, font, and much more.
The WaterDrop sound has been changed and the Boot sound and email also has been removed, for email use any Android app from the market app. It features Modded CSC, the developer promised to add new features soon in near future.
Read on how to install the Ultimatum custom ROM on the AT& Galaxy S3, but first make sure that the ClockworkMod recovery is installed on the smartphone, if you haven’t installed the recovery follow this guide to install. Charge the device battery and make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here [XDA Link] to PC.
Step #2: Copy the ROM zip file to the internal SD card of device.
Step #3: Switch the device off and put it in recovery mode, to do turn on the device by holding down volume up, home and power buttons until device turns on (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #4: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #5: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #6: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #7: Select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
