Install XXLP2 Firmware Leaked Firmware on Galaxy S II [how-To]
If you are a Samsung Galaxy S II user and want to install XXLP2 Firmware you are on a right place below you can see step-by-step guide for this purpose. Here I’d like to say that this Rom and the guide below is well-matched only and only with Galaxy S2, model number i9100 so, don’t try this on any other device. You also need to manage your back-up because the below steps can damage your valued data.
For this purpose you also need to download the drivers you can download them from below links…
DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.
First of all download XXLP2 firmware here. Then, extract I9100XXLP2_I9100OXALP2_OXA.rar to a new folder. You should see these 3 important files.
Also download Odin3 v1.83.exe and open the program. And Turn off your device.
Now use Vol. down + home + power buttons to go to download mode. Now on next screen, press Volume Up to carry on downloading mode. And then through a USB Data Cable connect your device to the PC.
Then Odin program will recognize your device and you will see that the ID: COM section will turn yellow, which will mean that all the drivers have been successfully installed.
Then click the PDA tab and select theI9100_CODE_I9100XXLP2_CL57619_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
Then click the Phone Tab, and select MODEM_I9100XXLP1_REV_02_CL1095381.tar.md5

Verify to select the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time check box in the options.
After that, click the START button. Now the rooting process will begin. And when DONE, your device should restart by itself. Restart it manually if it doesn’t.
Wait for the Samsung logo then you can now safely remove your phone to the computer. And if you have successfully updated your phone to ICS your ODIN program should look like this.
