I’d like to say that Backups and restores come into view to be fully working, so if rooting and then tweaking and potentially flashing ROMs is in your RAZR future, you will want to jump on this.
ClockworkMod Recovery has finally arrived for the DROID RAZR and we’ve got the details and a step-by-step guide to install, it on your DROID RAZR, below you can see the steps. You main requirement is to Root your DROID RAZR, and you can also follow the steps to root it here.
DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.
Then transfer CWMOnBoot directly under the /sdcard directory on your RAZR.
Now on your RAZR, enable Unknown sources from Settings > Applications so you can sideload APKs.
When this option is enabled, you must open the RazrBootstrap.apk, install it and boot into recovery from it.
When you enter recovery, select install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard > RAZR-CWMOnBoot-Global-J.Y.Daddy.zip
After flashing, reboot your device now you need to launch SuperUser > RazrBootstrap and set the status of Razrbootstrap to denied. The developer has emphasized that this is very important.
in the End you just need to Reboot once more.
