Learn How-To Install Android 4.0.3 ICS on Galaxy Tab 8.9
If you are a user of Galaxy Tab 8.9 and want to install Android 4.0.3 ICS (ice cream sandwich) you are on a right place below you can see a guide for this purpose. You also need A rooted Galaxy Tab 8.9, with ROM Manager and ClockworkMod Recovery installed.

First of all you need to download the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich package for the Galaxy Tab 8.9 from here and save it to your PC.
Then download the Google Apps from here and save it to your PC as well using a USB cable simply connect your tablet to your PC and transfer the .Zip files to tablet’s SD card and disconnect from PC.
Then you need to tun the ROM Manager app on your tablet.
Then tap the “Reboot to Recovery” button to reboot your device into ClockworkMod Recovery.
Now in the recovery menu, select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset”.
Under Advanced, select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” and also select “Wipe Cache”.
When Done, navigate to “Install zip from SD Card.” Then, select “Choose Zip from SD Card” and select the ICS update file to start flashing it.
you also need to de as the step above for the GApps ZIP file.
From the main menu, select “Reboot System Now”.
When rebooted your device, set up your Google Account.
Download and install a CPU control app of your choice. This build has been tested with SetCPU, No-frills CPU Control, or Antuantu.
Set the app to “interactive governor”.
