If you have Nook Color tablet and want to Restore the Tablet to stock, you are on right place below you can see the step-by-step guide for this installation. After that Take your Micro SD card and put it into an external SD card reader then plug that into your PC. Open WinImage (the flashing program from our How To Root procedure) and select Disk > Restore Virtual Hard Disk Image on Physical Drive and select the SD Card/SD Card Reader and then select the Cwm .img file that we unzipped earlier and wait for it to finish.

DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all you need to download the latest Stock firmware ROM from here and save it to your computer. And after that copy the stock ROM (and leave it as a .zip file) to the SD card you just flashed using WinImage. Put it on the root of the SD card, NOT inside any folders just on the SD card itself.

Step 2

After copying just remove the SD card from the PC and simply Turn Off the Nook.

Step 3

Then place the SD card in the Nook while it is off then Turn On the Nook.

Step 4

Then you should be meeting by the Clockwork recovery screen, on that screen select mounts and storage and select format system, then select format data.

Step 5

After that verify the system and data are NOT mounted and after that push the power button to go back.

Step 6

Then select Install zip from SD and then choose zip from SD after that select the stock nook ROM that place on the SD card former and you have to wait for some time.

Step 7

When DONE, turn off the Nook. And remove the SD card then turn the Nook back on.
