Learn How-To Root Galaxy Attain 4G on MetroPCS

Among lots of Samsung devices Galaxy Attain 4G is also well-known it’s not a high features smartphone like other devices of Samsung there are just minor specs in this smartphone like it has fast browsing and downloading with 4G LTE speed and 1GHz Processor and also Preloaded app brings like Facebook, Twitter and instant messaging together here I’d like to say that it’s also powered by Android 2.3, Gingerbread and also customize with games, music, apps and tools. If we talk about the screen of Galaxy Attain 4G then it has 3.5″ touchscreen with 1.3 MP front-facing and 3.0 MP rear-facing cameras.

If you are also a user of this device and also want to Root this device on MetroPCS you are on a right place below you can see step-by-step guide for this purpose. But before you get started make sure that you have a Galaxy Attain 4G model number SCH-R920 and don’t try the below steps for any other device, you also need to have at least 70 battery because this is important for this purpose. Before you get started make sure that you have manage your back-up because the below steps can damage your valued data. You also need to install the device drivers on your PC you can install Samsung Kies, if haven’t the Samsung Kies install you can download them from here and install

Instructions

Step 1

First of all you need to download the Rooting file from here and then Odin 1.85 from here.

Step 2

Then extract the Odin 1.85 and launch it and by double click

Step 3

Now you need to open the Odin 1.85 and select the PDA and navigate to the file that you have downloaded for Rooting

Step 4

Now you need to click the PIT and click the PIT file that you have downloaded for your Galaxy Attain 4G

Step 5

Then Turn Off your device and Press Volume UpHome button and Power button at the same time to boot into the download mode

Step 6

Now using a USB Cable connect your device to PC

Step 7

Once you’re in download mode plug the device to PC using USB cable. Odin will detect the device, ID:COM will turn yellow and a message saying ADDED will appear.

Step 8

Now in the end press the Start button to run the set up.

Step 9

When the rooting procedure is done, you’ll get a messaging PASS and the device will reboot itself. That’s it, after that safely unplug the device from PC. Enjoy.

    Your .tar file is a .fs file, how do i install it when it is NOT a .tar file?

      dear…there’s a button on Odin named PIT, click on this button then locate the PIT file from the folder where you’ve downloaded in first step….

    help me. i got a messaging PASS but the device didnot reboot itself. the phone cannot restart.

      dont worry, simply turn off phone and reboot into recovery mode, perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen. Then select go back and from the main menu select reboot system now, your phone will reboot into normal mode.

          in recovery mode perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen. Then wipe cache partition as well as from the main select advance and select wipe delvik too.then reboot phone
