Learn How To Root LG Optimus 2X using SuperOneClick Tool

Are looking for to root your LG Optimus 2x P990, well you are on the right place, here’s step by step guide to root your device with SuperOneClick, after this installation you’ll be able to install custom ROMs and much more. But keep in mind that the below procedure is risky and we’ll not be held responsible in case of loss so try it your own risk, if you are interested let’s start:

First make backup of data because this process will erase all data, enable the USB Debugging Mode in your phone from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging. Ensure that the USB Debugging option is ticked as shown in the below screen capture. Your device should be charged. LG Optimus drivers should be installed on your PC, if you don’t have download from here.

Instructions

Step #1: Download latest version of SuperOneClick.

Step #2: Extract the downloaded file to desktop.

Step #3: Connect the device to PC using USB cable and run SuperOneClick.exe then click on “Root”. Wait till process finish and reboot the device.

Step #4: Once the device reboot, download Root Checker app from Android Market on your phone and verify root privileges. That’s it!
