Learn How To Root Pantech Burst
Customization is what, the Android is known for but the manufacturers don’t give you full control over your Android device for full customization but one thing that can void the limitations of them is rooting. Instructions
Step #1: Download the Rooting Package from here [RootzWiki Link], rooting package can be found from the first post.
Step #2: Copy the downloaded root img to the ADB folder.
Step #3: Open the command prompt that can be found from Start>Program>Accessories and navigate to the ADB folder, if you’re using Windows 7 or above, you can directly open the command prompt from ADB folder, to do so, open the ADB folder there right click on the mouse while holding down the shift key on your keyboard.
Step #4: Plug your Pantech Burst to your PC using a USB cable.
Step #5: Enter following command on command prompt, it will reboot phone in bootloader mode:
adb reboot bootloader
Step #6: Once your phone is in bootloader mode, enter another following command to root the phone:
fastboot boot prestoroot.img
Step #7: Once the rooting is done, unplug it from the PC.
That’s it, your Pantech Burst is now rooted, open the Google Play store, there download and install Root Checker to check root access on the phone. You can also visit the original thread of RootzWiki link given in first step.
