If you are a user of Motorola Droid Razr and you want to upgrade it with Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread you are on a right platform below you can see the step-by-step guide for this purpose. In this regard you need A windows PC with access to the Internet and also USB data cable for the device an as well.

So, before you get make sure that you have manage the Backup of all your data because steps can harm your valued data. And your device has to be fully charged. before you get started there is also a main steps that you have to do first of all and that is Enable USB Debugging do this by going tostyle=”font-style: italic;”>Settings > Applications > Development.

Step 1

For upgrading you need to download the enhanced Gingerbread 2.3.6 custom ROM from here, and then connect the phone to the PC.

Step 2

Then simply copy the  file into the root directory of the device’s SD card and disconnect the Droid Razr from the PC and Switch Off the device.

Step 3

Then use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons together with the Power button to Boot the device into recovery mod.

Step 4

Then you have to choose “Install Zip from SD card” from the menu and then go to “Choose zip from SD card”.

Step 5

Also select the Zip file that you copied to the SD card earlier.

Step 6

Here I’d like to say that this will bring in the installation procedure which will take around 10 minutes.

Step 7

Then just Go Back to the main menu and then Select the “Reboot system now”.

Step 8

In the end just Disable USB Debugging on your Droid Razr.
