If you are a user of HTC Sensation and have a desire to upgrade your HTC Sensation to ICS with HTC Sense 3.6 you are on a right platform below you can see the step-by-step guide for this purpose. Before you get started make sure that you have manage your back-up because below steps can harm your valued data. And this installation guide and ROM are for the HTC Sensation so; don’t try to install this ROM on other devices.

In this regard you need a rooted HTC Sensation you can follow this guide here ClockworkMod Recovery installed on your device and fully charged device.

DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all download the Extreme Sensation from here and su-bin ZIP files from here and just copy these files in the Root of your Device’s Card then Switch off your phone.

Step 2

Then use Volume Down key and Power button to Reboot into bootloader mode and on the next screen, select “bootloader”.

Step 3

Then download the 3.24 Unlocked firmware from here if the bootloader ask you to update you just need to select “Yes” your this effort will install the 3.24 Unlocked firmware on your device.

Step 4

After doing that your device will automatically reboot when it is DONE flashing the firmware, you just need to wait for some time.

Step 5

Then connect your device through USB cable with PC and delete the 3.24 Unlocked firmware ZIP file from your SD card and disconnect your device from the PC.

Step 6

The Turn Off your device press Volume Down key and Power button at the same time to reboot it into ClockworkMod Recovery mode.

Step 7

Now use the volume keys to choose “Recovery” and tap the Power button to boot to Recovery mode on the next screen.

Step 8

Now you need to select Backup under the Backup and Restoremenu to create a backup of your working ROM.

Step 9

Then you need to select “Wipe data/factory reset” and make sure your action on the next screen from the Recovery menu.

Step 10

Now select “Wipe Cache Partition” and also make sure your action on the next screen.

Step 11

Select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” and make sure your action on the next screen from the Advanced menu.

Step 12

The select “Install zip from sdcard” on the main menu.

Step 13

Now you need to select “Choose zip from sdcard” and also locate the Extreme Sensation ZIP file.

Step 14

After that select and confirm to initiate the installation process.

Step 15

Now Go back to the main menu and select “Reboot system now” to restart your device after installing the ROM files.

Step 16

At this time your device will ask you to provide the necessary info and configure your Google Account you just need to download and install 4EXT Recovery Updater from here on your device.

Step 17

Now make arrangement your root permissions by installing the su-bin ZIP file located on your SD card and also using 4EXT Recovery Updater.
