If you are using Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Based Samsung Captivate and want to install MIUI 4 you are on a right place below you can see guide for this purpose. Before you get started make sure that you have manage your back-up because the below steps can damage your valued data. You also need to make sure that your phone battery is charge at least 60%.

Now you need to turn on USB Debugging, on your homescreen tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development. After that, make sure that USB debugging is checked.

DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all you need to download the file from here on your PC and after that, using USB Data Cable connect your device to the PC.

Step 2

Next, copy the zip file you downloaded earlier to the root directory of your SD card and simply disconnect your phone to the PC.

Step 3

Now you need to turn off your device then press and hold the Volume up + Volume down + Power button to go to Clockworkmod recovery.

Step 4

In the recovery, select backup> backup and restore> then backup to start saving your old ROM to do a nandroid backup.

Step 5

Now do a full wipe by selecting Mount and Storage then wipe the following:

• Format System
• Format Data
• Format Cache
• Go back to main menu and select advance then wipe dalvik-cache.

Step 5

From the main menu select install zip from SD card> choose zip from SD card> after that select the .zip to start flashing the Dr. MIUI 4 ROM.

Step 6

Finally, Go Back to main menu and select Reboot system now. That’s it‼
