As you know well that Sony Bravia Engine is just for Sony devices, but now HTC Wildfire should happy to know that they can also install it on their HTC Wildfire, say thanks to tojamal2367 of XDA Developers Forum who made it possible, so now you can improve the picture and video quality of your HTC Wildfire, here’s guide to install it.

If you’re interested follow below guide to install it, but keep in mind that your device must be rooted with root explorer  installed its battery should be charged. Please make a backup of your device data because the below procedure will wipe all data, and turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development. Then, make sure that USB debugging is checked.

DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the Sony_Bravia_Engine_-_Wildfire-v2.zip file on PC and extract it, you get following files.

• System folder with ect folder inside.
• Edit this in Build.prop.txt

Step #2: Connect the device to PC via USB cable and ppen the ect folder and copy the “be_movie” and “be_photo” to the system/etc folder on your phone. (use Root Explore app to do this)

Step #3: Go to the system/ folder on your phone and edit the build.prop file then add the text below in the end of the file then save.# Bravia Engine Service
ro.service.swiqi.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi.enable=1
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100

Step #4: Finally, Reboot your phone.
