If you are a user of Amazon kindle fire and want to install and Root Custom Recovery on this device you are on a right place below you can see step-by-step guide for this reason. But before you get started make sure that you have manage your back-up because the below steps can damage your data. And also make sure that your phone battery is charge at least 60% because it’s important.

DISCLAIMER: The below method is bit risky and we will not be held responsible if you lose data or your device gets damaged in the following of this guide so please proceed at your own risk.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all you need to download Kindle Fire Utility v0.9.3 on your PC from here after that extract it.

Step 2

Now double click the “install_drivers” to install the Kindle Fire Drivers and simply use the USB Data Cable to connect your Kindle Fire to the PC .

Step 3

When DONE, go to extracted file and double click “run” to start the Kindle Fire Utility program and now your ADB Status should be online.

Step 4

If you want to root your device select “install permanent root with superuser” by pressing 3.

Step 5

If you want to install recovery select “install latest TWRP Recovery”.

Step 6

When finished rooting and installing recovery select “boot mode” again by pressing 1 then select “normal” by pressing 1 to boot your device normally.

That’s it‼

If you end up stuck at the yellow triangle, in KF Utility select Boot Normal, wait for it to say <waiting for device> and then press and hold the power button 20 seconds until the fire turns off, then when it’s off, turn it back on. This sometimes happens, I have yet to find a clean solution

If you end up stuck with a yellow triangle, do not EVER unplug it. Leave it plugged in. Check the windows drivers to make sure it isn’t showing as “kindle” again. Fastboot is different and can cause this. And if you’ll follow the steps accurately you can do it without of any trouble and all the credit goes to Android Authority for this effort.
