Step #1: Download the CASUAL root tool to your PC.
Step #2: Run the downloaded root file.
Step #3: Plug the smartphone to PC using USB cable.
Step #4: On the root tool window, you’ll see a drop down menu at bottom. From that menu, select whatever you want, you’ll see four options:
- Galaxy Nexus Root version 4.0.1 or 4.0.2
- Install BusyBox
- Install Galaxy Nexus GSM CWM Recovery
- Install Galaxy Nexus CDMA CWM Recovery
