How To Root LG G3 D855 on Android 5.0 Lollipop
LG has not been upgraded to very top-position in market of smartphones yet. But it is working, the LG G3 is doing well. The LG G3 is fast and well-featured. This phone can be a cause of big upset. Various Nexus devices have yet to receive the Android Lollipop update. But this software update is already available for the G3, at least unofficially. Even XDA’s member Skin1980 has rooted a LG G3 Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM (it is compatible with G3 D855 only). It is a good achievement. The developer said that this custom ROM is suitable for users who want to keep the older bootloader that is (at this time). And this is for who accept the bumped TWRP provided us by team Codefire.
It is pretty easy to play with this rooted Lollipop ROM. Download the zip package of ROM, SuperSU and a new kernel image. Place them to your phone’s sdcard. Boot phone in recovery mode, do a factory reset, flash ROM, then SuperSU and then the new kernel. Reboot the phone and you should be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop version with root access. So if you are too much excited to get this, you should visit the original XDA thread for downloads and guide.
