Root Your Galaxy Note Running Android 4.0.3 ICS ZSLPF Firmware [How-To]
Recently an Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich-based firmware leaked for Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000, for those of you who have installed this firmware on their device, a CF root tool has been released to root their device, it’ll also install ClockworkMod recovery on your Galaxy note, continue reading to root and install ClockworkMod recovery on your device.
Before you start first keep in mind that the below guide is just for Samsung Galaxy Note running ZSLPF firmware, you can check the device detail from Setting>About Phone. Please make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps. USB drivers must be installed on your PC, you can download the for 32 bit (x86) Windows here and for 64-bit (x64) Windows here.

Step #1: Download the CF-tool and Odin 1.85 to computer and unzip the files into a single folder.
Step #2: Open the folder where you’ve unzipped above file and run Odin.
Step #6: Click on PDA Button and locate CF-Root-SGN_ZS_OZS_LPF-v5.3-CWM5.tar from the folder which you’ve got in first step.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into download mode by holding down Volume Down, Home and Power button, a warning screen appear, then press Volume up to enter into download mode.
Step #5: Once you’re in download mode plug the device to PC using USB cable. Odin will detect the device, ID:COM will turn yellow and a message saying ADDED will appear.
Step #7: Click on Start button to start installation, once the installation done, your device will reboot itself and you’ll see message saying PASS.
Step #8: Now unplug the device from PC.
Step #9: Once again turn the device off.
Step #10: Reboot into recovery mode by holding down Volume Down Key and OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button., when a warning screen appear, press the Volume Down key to continue entering the Recovery Mode.
Step #11: Select Wipe data/factory reset and confirm on the next screen, then select Wipe Cache partition and confirm on the next screen.
Step #12: Go back to main recovery menu and select “reboot system now”.
