T-Mobile Galaxy S3 Gets Leaked Jelly Bean Update – installation
It has been confirmed that Samsung will release Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OTA update for international Galaxy S3 variant on August 29 but an OTA Jelly Bean update also has been leaked for T-Mobile Galaxy S3 variant that suggest that T-Mobile variant will also get Jelly Bean update soon in near future.
The leaked update firmware version is T999UVDLH3 and it has been tested, users told us change logs, you can access to Google Now app from recent app screen, it adds Jelly Bean clock in status bar and five app dock on lock screen, there are two home screen, basic and easy, new bloatware and more. But since this a leaked firmware, it may contains lots of bugs and it may not be stable for daily, I don’t recommend you to install this update, however if you can’t wait for official update, take a look at below guide to learn how to install leaked Android 4.1 Jelly Bean T999UVDLH3 firmware on T-Mobile Galaxy S3.
Before you install, first make sure that your phone is running UVALH2 firmware, check device detail from Setting>About Phone, you can follow our this guide to install UVALH2 firmware and also make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.

Instructions
Step #1: Download the leaked Android 4.1 Jelly Bean T999UVDLH3 OTA update from here or here.
Step #2: Place the SGH-T999_TMB_287866950.zip file to the internal storage of device.
Step #3: Power off phone, then reboot into stock recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power buttons (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #4: Now select apply update from sdcard/apply update from internal storage, and locate SGH-T999_TMB_287866950.zip file, it will start the installation, once it done, the phone will reboot itself. It doesn’t reboot itself, reboot manually, to do so, return to main menu and select reboot system now.
That’s it, the Jelly Bean is now installed on your phone, do comment for queries. When you need to go back, simply install UVALH2 firmware again link given in third paragraph.

hey .. i have a Tmobile s3 .. my baseband version is t999uvlh3 and my android version is 4.0.4.. whenever i try to update my phone from settings it says ” the device is up to date” how can i install jellybean preferably without rooting.. please help
