Turn Your Galaxy ACE S5830 into Galaxy S3 with AceSIII Custom ROM
The Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S3 looks pretty nice, the device comes with eye-catching style and useful features. But now if you own a Samsung Galaxy ACE, here’s an interesting for you. You can turn on your Samsung Galaxy Ace into Galaxy S3 with AceIII custom ROM, yes, it’s Galaxy S3 ROM.
The ROM is based on Maclaws CyanogenMod 9 and it has Touch wiz 5 Launcher, you can resize the widgets of ROM. The ROM also has some other apps, thanks to XDA developer member Thatgrass. The ROM is still in development stage, so you can expect some bugs, camera isn’t working. But if you really want to taste Galaxy S3 firmware, ignore these minor bugs and continue reading to install AceSIII ROM on your Galaxy Ace.
Before you install ROM first keep in mind that your device must be rooted with ClockworkMod recovery installed its battery should be charged. Disable all system tools such as Samsung KIES, antivirus, firewall program, please make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps, and turn the USB Debugging on, to do so just tap Menu> Settings> Application> Development.

Step #1: Download the latest version of ROM from here [XDA link] to PC.
Step #2: Plug the device to PC using USB cable.
Step #3: Transfer the downloaded file to internal SD card of device.
Step #4: Disconnect the device from PC.
Step #5: Turn the device off.
Step #6: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down volume up, home and power button until screen turns on (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).
Step #7: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything not work out that you expect from this ROM, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #8: Perform full wipe, first select the wipe data/factory reset, and confirm on the next screen.
Step #9: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #10: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”
