I’m biggest fan of Xperia devices because the whole Xperia series looks gorgeous and is attention getting, you can use a Xperia device software on any other like a senior XDA developer member has just released a new MOD that turns your Xperia X10 Mini into Xperia S named “Xperia S Inside”. The package provides you the Xperia S experience, it includes almost all Xperia S’s elements such as the launcher, the home screen, Xeria S CyanogenMod 7 theme and more.

Read on how to install Xperia S Inside Mod on your Xperia X10 Mini, first make sure a custom recovery is installed on your Xperia X10 Min.

Instructions

Step #1: Download the Xperia S Inside MOD.

Step #2: Transfer the downloaded XPERIA_S_Inside_2.zip file to SD card of device.

Step #3: Turn the device off.

Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode (Note: In recovery mode use volume keys to navigate and power button to select).

Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything goes wrong, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.

Step #6: Return to main menu by selecting “Go Back”.

Step #7: Select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded MOD .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.

Step #8: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now.”

Step #9: When phone turns on, check the box and tap Xperia Home.

Step #10: Now go to Setting>CyanogenMod settings > Lockscreen > Style options > Lockscreen style > Tap on Sliding Tab.

Step #11: Now launch the app drawer > Tap Theme Chooser > Slide to Xperia S theme > Tap Apply.
