TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) is latest custom recovery for Android device, it comes with helpful features and it’s pretty easy to use too. The recovery offers numbers of customizable features, this recovery is packed with some standard recovery features but it’s also a touch-based custom recovery that enables you to get rid of physical keys in recovery mode.

If you own a Transformer TF300T, be glad to know that now you’re able to flash the TWRP recovery, here’s guide to flash TWRP recovery on Transformer TF300T you just make sure that the bootloader of the tablet is unlocked, you can follow our guide to unlock and make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps. Also make sure you’re using Windows PC and USB drivers are installed, you can use ASUS PAD Suite to install drivers but it should not be running during installation.

Instructions

Step #1: Download Fastboot and TWRP Recovery on the PC, then unzip the download fastboot.zip file into a folder.

Step #2: Now rename the openrecovery-twrp-2.1.5-tf300t.blob file into twrp.blob and transfer it to the fastboot folder, you’ll have there now five files.

Step #3: Turn the tablet off and put it on fastboot mode, to do turn it on by holding down the Power and Volume Down buttons until you see the message “Press Vol Up to enter RCK”, within a few seconds a menu will show up on screen, then use Volume Down button to select the USB icon and then also press the Volume Up button it will confirm the action.

Step #4: Now plug the tablet to PC using the USB cable.

Step #5: Launch Command Prompt, then navigate to the fastboot folder, if you’re using Windows 7, you can open command prompt directly from the folder, to do so open the folder, there hold down shift button on keyboard, then right click on any empty aria of folder, a menu will appear, select open command prompt.

Step #6: Enter following command

fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery twrp.blob

That’s it, once the installation is done, unplug the tablet from PC and reboot.
