Use Unlimited Apps on Galaxy Note 2 Multi-View Section [How-To]
A few weeks ago Samsung rolled out Android 4.1.1 XXALJ1firmware for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 that brings a multi-window features, the multi-window feature lets you to use two apps at a time, you need to long press on the back button, it will open a menu that can be split into two apps. It doesn’t support all Android apps, it currently support just Samsung apps, Google apps and a few others. But now you can add unlimited apps to your Galaxy Note 2 multi-view section even can use any app you want, thanks to senior XDA developer member goddamnit.
The developer has developed a mod that lets you to do so, it’s pretty simple. However do keep in mind that currently the MOD support just three firmwares – XXALJ1, XXALJ3 and XXALJ7. You can check your Galaxy Note detail from Setting>About Phone. Developer may release the MOD for other firmwares soon in near future.
The below guide will walk you through how to install this multi-window mod for unlimited apps on Galaxy Note 2. Step #1: Download the latest version of MOD from here [XDA Link] according to your firmware version.
Step #2: Transfer the downloaded .zip file to SD card of device.
Step #3: Turn the device off.
Step #4: Reboot the device into recovery mode by holding down home, volume up and power buttons.
Step #5: In recovery mode, create a nandroid backup of your current ROM, it’s important because if anything goes wrong, you’ll be able to easily revert back to your current state. To create backup select “Backup and Restore”, and then select “Backup” again.
Step #6: From the main menu, select “Install Zip from SD Card” then “Choose Zip from SD Card” and locate the downloaded .zip file that you’ve transferred in above step and confirm installation. Wait till installation complete.
Step #7: Once the installation is completed, select “Go Back” after that select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your Galaxy Note 2.
