Android is a well known operating system which is running in lots of smartphones and Xperia S is also one of them. It’s a great smartphone in the view of its features one of the wonderful feature is its media player and if you want to use its media player on Xperis Arc and Arc S you are on a right place below you can see step-by-step guide but the below guide is just for those users who are using official Android 2.3.4 firmware.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all you need to download zip file from here and extract the contents of the zip file inside a new folder and transfer it to your Arc/Arc S memory card.

Step 2

Then you need to install the APK files with the following names – ‘MusicWidget.apk’, ‘SemcMusic.apk’, and ‘Soundenhancement.apk’.

Step 3

Now you need to Reboot your phone in Recovery mode.

Step 4

Then simply install the ‘Soundfx_Xperia_S.zip’ file. Restart your phone after flashing the zip file.

Step 5

After this copy the ‘FBMusicLike.apk’, ‘SemcdataMetaCleanup.apk’ and ‘AudioEffectService.apk’ into /system/app. Also, edit the permissions of these files to rw-r–r–. You can edit the permissions by long pressing the files.

Step 6

Then you need to select the Permissions option.

Step 7

In the end Uncheck and then re-check the ‘Facebook inside Xperia’ and restart your phone after this.
