AT&T One X Jelly Bean rolls out at long last
The long-awaited Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is finally official for the AT&T HTC One X, the AT&T One X Jelly Bean update is being rolled out through OTA (over the air), it’s 630 MB in size. The update doesn’t bump a lot of new features and bug fixes, however changelog seems enough to make you happy.
The Jelly bean for AT&T One X includes Google Now that lets you search with your voice over Google, the notification bar now offers a few more features like now you can expand or collapse any notification. You can take look at quick view on new notifications even without launching apps. Now you’re able to view the full text of an SMS message and the full photo of a MMS in the notification window. The Jelly bean update for AT&T One X also includes a new countdown timer for the front-facing camera.
The most interesting feature is AT&T locker, it can be used to store your photos, videos and documents in a cloud storage where you can do just fine without AT&T-specific software. The update also bumps AT&T drivemode and AT&T messages.
AT&T said that the Jelly Bean AT&T One X update will be available at any time, so go to Setting>About Phone and tap on software update to check whether the update is available or not.
