Download Android 4.2 Launcher App APK – It’s Faster

Android development community is porting more and more Android 4.2 goodies to other Android devices, we already have been brought Android 4.2 wallpapers, camera, keyboard and clock app. Now we’re here with another useful apk from Android 4.2 – Android 4.2 launcher app, thanks to senior XDA developer member sert00 for providing the launcher to us.

However there’s no noticeable difference between Android 4.1 and Android 4.2 launcher but developer says that the Android 4.2 launcher is bit faster and gives you a great experience. You can install the Android 4.2 launcher on any Android device running Android 4.1, no matter you’re on a Android 4.1 custom ROM or stock Android 4.1 firmware. Do keep in mind that your Android device must be rooted.

The installation is very simple, simply download Android 4.2 launcher APK. Then copy the downloaded 4.2_Launcher2_signed.apk to your Android device. If you’re using a custom ROM that based on stock AOSP Android firmware or own a Nexus device, download and install Titanium Backup. Then using the Titanium app, uninstall your default launcher app, then locate the apk file you’ve just copied and install it. If you’re not on AOSP firmware, don’t uninstall your default launcher app.

That’s it, now you’re on Android 4.2 launcher app, it’s specially designed for those of you who love stock Android apps.
