Facebook SDK 3.0 for Android released – also available on Android Dev Center
After the iOS developers, Facebook has just released the Android SDK for Android users and Android developer center with resources and tools that would be integrated with Facebook, they said that the new Facebook SDK for Android will make building social experience easier than before as well as update your apps and brings improvements on it, from official blog:
With this update, our SDK provides advanced functionality that makes it easier to build more immersive social experiences, as well as better distribute and promote your app. With our SDK and Open Graph, now it’s even easier to get more people to install and use your apps regularly.
Latest Facebook Android SDK version 3.0 brings native UI controls on the app, it makes management easy with different new tools for the authorization and authentication, it improve the Facebook API support with batch SDK requests, the Mobile install measurement also has been improved. This new release comes with numerous fragment and views for command tasks like built-in caching and on-demand loading is faster and very responsive now, the friend picker now lets you tag anyone in a graph and you’re able to find people who have installed your apps.
The Place picket lets you find nearby location along with customization, the profile picture control lets you to view any Facebook object such as people, places and thinks. The new Facebook SDK also improves login controls, it’s easier to manage user identity and app permissions.
