LG G Pad 8.3 gets KitKat over Verizon
The Verizon’s version of LG G Pad 8.3 is finally receiving the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update officially. The update has been rolling out since Thursday. And there are some awesome changes KitKat bring to make your life easy and smarter.
Big Red claims that Verizon G Pad 8.3 KitKat will bring you a battery icon change from blue to white and the immersive mode is now available with full screen viewing for any application and game. This update will support Google wireless printing ability. There are many labeling changes in Accessibility settings and multi-user mode. You can set up many accounts and permissions for other. The best feature you get with this update is Knock Code. You can now make a two to eight tap pattern for unlocking the tab. It is secret and awesome trick to get tablet unlocked quickly even when you are with anyone you don’t want to share unlocking password. This update will address many issues as well.
Pick up the tablet, make sure you are connected to a proper Wi-Fi connection and battery is charges, then start checking OTA notification. Keep in mind that this update is rolling by phases and it make take time to arrive in your home.
