Microsoft sues Kyocera for seven patent infringements
Microsoft has sued the well-known Kyocera Corp because of patent infringement related to software. Microsoft is saying that the company is violating Microsoft patents for Duraforce, Hydro and Brigadier cell phone lines, the Windows company accuses Kyocera is violating seven patents. Windows makers now want federal judge to impose US sales injunction, according to lawsuit. While, on the other hand Kyocera Corp has not declared any statement. Deputy General Counsel David Howard from Microsoft declared that:
“We respect Kyocera but we believe they need to license the patented technology they are using. We’re hopeful this case can be resolved amicably”.
Kyocera’s phones use the Android mobile operating system. Windows team says Kyocera is using the already patented technology related to location services and text messaging.
