Samsung announces Galaxy Chat, Ice Cream Sandwich Smartphone with QWERTY keyboard
For those who love the QWERTY keyboard of BlackBerry mobiles but also love Android operating system, Samsung has just announced another smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Chat, its model number is GT-B5330 and it’s first mid rang Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone of Korean company, Samsung took better step to make Samsung’s fan happy.
As I said above that the Samsung Galaxy Chat comes with a physical BlackBerry-like QWERTY keyboard, of course there’re already some Samsung smartphones with BlackBerry-like QWERTY keyboard but Galaxy Chat is first Ice Cream Sandwich device, the design is eye-catching.
The device has nice specs and features, it features 3-inch QVGA display, the device has 4GB of internal battery but also a micro SD card slot, the device support up to 32GB SD card, however there’re couple of ways to increase the internal memory of your Android smartphone.
Since this is a mid range smartphone, Samsung hasn’t packed the device with high-end specs, the smartohone has 2MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and 1200 mAh battery, however overall specs of the Galaxy Chat are enough to make you happy with low price, Samsung hasn’t declared the price of this smartphone but it has been confirmed that the smartphone will available on the stores from this month, firstly Samsung will launch the Galaxy Chat in Spain, but the release date isn’t available too.
It seems that Samsung Galaxy Chat would be a best and successful smartphone of 2012, other companies also has announced their mid range smartphones such as Sony Xperia Tipo and HTC Desire C, both are Ice Cream Sandwich smartphones and comes with similar specs and features, the difference is just the QWERTY keyboard and might be Samsung would be bit more successful with this feature. As the name of smartphone tells that the device comes with Samsung’s ChatON communication service with a dedicated ChatON launch key.
