Samsung Galaxy Beam Launched In UK
If you cost your mind back in MWC (Mobile World Conference), Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Beam and the wait for Samsung Galaxy Beam is over now, Samsung has finally launched the device in United Kingdom, it’s Samsung’s second attempt to launch a projector-phone and packs a 15-lumen projector.
Samsung packed the phone with powerful specs it features built-in nHD projector, Touch-sensitive controls, TFT screen and 4-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels. It has 1GHz dual core processor and 768MB of RAM and it also features TouchWiz UI 4.0, the phone comes with 8GB of internal memory, don’t be worried about low memory, it also has micro SD card slot, it support up to 32GB SD card, which is enough.
The phone features both cameras 5 megapixel camera along with autofocus LED flash, on the other hand it features 1.63 megapixel front camera. It also has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, it runs Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread, here honestly I would like to say that of course other specs are powerful but I don’t think Gingerbread is enough to make you happy, it should run the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, however Samsung have to release the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the phone as soon as possible.
Specs and features suggest that it would be successful projector phone of Samsung, the device will cost you just £395 that is also most $615 US, however the device is available just in UK and Samsung hasn’t mentioned availability of phone in other countries yet but as usual it would be available soon in your country.
The design is beautiful, the battery life is also better, it has Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery that offers 760 hours stand by time as well as 20 hours talktime for 2G version and for the 3G version if offers 760 hourse stand by time as well as 9 hour and almost 40 minutes talktime.
