Samsung has Introduced Galaxy S Advance
Everybody knows that Samsung is a well-known electronic company who is presenting lots of great devices and Galaxy series is also one of them. But now Samsung identify the new smartphone the “Galaxy S Advance” and come into view to be aiming the handset squarely at the mid-range market. So, the Galaxy S Advance GT-i9070 has shown up in the Philippines, and appears to be a middle house among the Galaxy S I and II.
The Galaxy S Advance comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen (480 x 800), a 1.0GHz dual-core processor, 8GB/16GB of internal memory, front facing 1.3MP camera and a rear facing 5MP camera with 720p video recording. The specs are certainly not going to set the world on fire and disappointingly it’s running Android 2.3, with no word on whether it will get an Ice Cream Sandwich update.
“The GALAXY S Advance adds to the successful track record of the GALAXY smartphone range with a phone that combines power and style with all the versatility of Samsung’s Hub services,” said JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.
So, in the end we can say that Samsung just made the Galaxy S Advance official with a press release in Korea. All specs are confirmed as well as a February launch for Russia, followed by a rollout to CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
