Samsung Launches Galaxy Camera: Smart Camera, Runs Jelly Bean, Features 16MP Sensor


We already has seen Android-powered cameras such as the Nikon’s Coolpix S800c but not from Samsung, recently the Samsung registered the Samsung Galaxy Camera name that is finally has been launched at IFA, first Android-powered Samsung camera that packs in a impressive punch. There was no rumor about Galaxy Camera before this release, Samsung gave us a surprise with this Samsung Galaxy Camera.

It’s a point-and-shoot digital camera that is packed with impressive specs, you can say it a “first Samsung smart camera”, it makes photo sharing easier than before, take a look at the specs and features of Galaxy camera below:

The most interesting part of the camera is that it runs latest Android version, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the feature list is really attention-grabbing, the Samsung adds useful features to the camera like the Galaxy Camera has smart content manager, photo and video wizard, group pose, voice control, auto cloud backup, motion control video (slow and normal),  Planner, S Suggest, and more. The camera support the AllShare Play, Family Story, and Dropbox.

The Galaxy Camera’s screen features pixel density of 308 ppi that has been used in Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 4S Retina Display. It’s a full-fledged Android device, which means, you can also use all services that you use on a Android smartphone such as Android apps (download from Google Play Store), Google music, Google movies, Google books, and more, the camera already includes Google+, Gmail, Google Maps and Google Search.
