Samsung shows off EXYNOS 5 OCTA processor at CES – includes 8 cores
This CES 2013 has brought three of super fast new processor for our mobile devices – Tegra 4, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and 600 and Samsung EXYNOS 5. In recent CES Samsung keynote they has announced their new EXYNOS 5 OCTA processor, this dual quad-core ARM processor seems really fast and Samsung may use it for their upcoming Galaxy S4 smartphone, Samsung said that “Level of pure processing power, never seen before in mobile devices” and ”more detailed damage to cards, then ever before”.
The EXYNOS 5 OCTA processor includes 8 total cores, there are two groups of 4 cores and it’s 2 time faster than the previous one. The size is just 28mm, this heavy chip is able to handle the heavy lifting even it saves the battery life too, it saves 70% battery power that suggest us upcoming Samsung devices would offer almost two days battery life instead of one.
