Sony unveils ‘My Xperia’ service to improve smartphone’s security
Security has become a one of most irritating problem in Android world, for that we can find a lot of different ways to secure smartphones such as third party security apps, however manufacturer also pay attention on this issue like Sony has just launched a new security service for their Xperia series named “My Xperia”, some people already has used the service in leaks, however My Xperia security service is official now by Sony.
My Xperia service is very simply and seems familiar, this service makes a link between your Xperia phone to MyXperia.com, then whenever you’ll accidently lose the mobile somewhere, the service will offer you some options to make your life a bit easier, you’ll be able to locate the phone on a map, set sound for get attention from anybody even phone will be in silent mode and wake the display.
The service can also be used to lock the phone information private and you can erase both internal and external SD card date if you need. Some reports tell that Sony is making a “phased launch” for the service.
